Louise Brown

Louise is a self taught artist. She has been painting portraits for 25 years. Her first love is pastels, which are particularly sensitive to skin tones, but she also works in charcoal. Louise has painted many pets, children and adults over the years, both individually and as family groups. 

Focussing primarily on capturing the essence of her subject, Louise offers what may be a unique guarantee among portrait artists... You only buy the painting if you are happy with the result.

Louise also currently runs three local art groups at locations around Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. Some students of course, prefer individual tuition with a highly personalised agenda. One of Louise's greatest passions is to sketch people from life. Her subjects 'sit' for approximately twenty minutes after which they are presented with their unique charcoal sketch to take away. For more details see the Sketches On Location page.
